Daniel Soliman

Construction Planner and Front-End Engineer

Hi, I’m Daniel, a construction planner and tech enthusiast with 20+ years of experience. I was the scheduler at the Marlins Ballpark, Brickell City Centre, LAX, and other condos, hospitals, and airports throughout Miami. I believe the key to a successful project is understanding priorities and how the plan works in a constantly changing environment.

I'm currently building DelayBrief, which turns Primavera P6 schedule updates and meeting transcripts into concise draft schedule reports—float trends, critical-path changes, delays, and narrative—and loft, an open, human-readable building model format—type text, see a building. Previously, I co-founded Planflow, a construction operations platform that helped teams execute on schedule (now closed).

I also work at Robins & Morton, an ENR100 healthcare general contractor, for 8 years as a scheduler for multiple projects, including Project of the year. I developed tools like TimeTable FigJam, TimeTable Visio, CtrlWiz, PlusDelta, SlatPlanner (acquired). With the time left, I train superintendents on CPM scheduling and administer Primavera Cloud for the company.

Previously, I was the Director of BIM and Scheduling at Baker Concrete, where I started the BIM department and established scheduling standards.

Before that I was a scheduling and BIM consultant. My clients included companies like Tesla, Hunt Construction (now AECOM), US Navy, DoD, Siemens, Turner Construction, Suffolk Construction, Americaribe (Bouygues), and Moriarty Florida.
